Pazaricky, Katherine (Palma) Acton Funeral Home, date of death August 23, 2010 age 90, of Maynard and a native of Concord, died with her daughters by her side on Mon. Aug. 23, 2010 at the Emerson Hosptial in Concord after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Pazaricky, who died in 1996.
Born and raised in Concord where she was affectionately known as "Katrina," she was the daughter of the late Frank and Caroline (Lamberti) Palma. She was employed for a time at Raytheon during WW II, then married her loving husband, Frank, on March 15, 1944. They settled in Maynard to raise their family, where Mrs. Pazaricky was known to her friends in town as "Kay." She was an excellent homemaker, devoting her time to her family and to organizations including the Girl Scouts and the PTA in support of her daughters' activities. In later years, she was a member of the Maynard Senior Citizens, enjoying the various trips organized by the group. A wonderful friend and confidante, she most enjoyed time spent with family, especially most recently with her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed going out to lunch, and Tuesday outings with her siblings.
She is survived by her three daughters, Diane Moore and husband Thomas of Littleton, Carol Davoll and husband Richard of Maynard, and Kathryn Kanniard and husband Randy of Maynard; 6 grandchildren, Melissa and Melanie Moore, Eric and Kayla Davoll and Stephanie and Shannon Kanniard; two brothers, Donald "Lennie" Palma and John Palma both of Concord; a sister Lena Tiano of Concord; and generations of nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margie Massarelli and the late Salvatore Palma.
Visiting hours were Thursday, Aug. 26th from 4-8pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, Aug. 27th at 9am in St. Bridget's Church 1 Percival St. Maynard. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Great Rd. (Rte 117) Maynard.
