Obituary for Vincent F. Jarmulowicz, Jr.

Vincent Frank Jarmulowicz, Jr., 86, died peacefully February 27, 2018 in Oakland Park, FL. A former resident of Maynard and Acton, MA and Bristol, CT, for over 30 years he was a resident of Pompano Beach and recently Tamarac, FL.

Born in Boston and raised in Maynard, he was the son of the late Vincent and Antonina (Pianowski) Jarmulowicz. He was also predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Ann (Jarmulowicz) Britt, brother-in-law James Britt, and nephew Robert Jarmulowicz.

He is survived by a brother Robert “Jarmo” Jarmulowicz and his wife Sally, and a sister Joan Doran and her husband Ron, all of Maynard; nieces Jessica (Britt) Beer of Westford, Sarah (Britt) Ulich of Duxbury, Susan (Jarmulowicz) Carter, Ann Marie (Jarmulowicz) Chiasson and Linda (Jarmulowicz) Dallaire, all of Maynard; nephews Michael Britt and Peter Britt both of North Falmouth, and William Jarmulowicz of Maynard.
Vincent was a graduate of the Maynard schools and Wentworth Institute of Technology, and served honorably in the US Army National Guard. An architectural designer and project estimator, he worked most of his career in the construction industry with companies in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Frank J. Rooney Co in Southern Florida. He later owned a consulting company, and for a time was a realtor in the Acton-Maynard area.

In younger years, Vincent was an excellent football player. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, golfing, camping, boating and fishing. He was an avid traveler who liked cruises and trips to Europe, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Remembered as the life of the party, the lady’s loved him because he loved to dance. He especially enjoyed visitors to his home, serving as an excellent tour guide to all the best places in the area. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Services in Massachusetts will be held at a later date to be announced. Those who wish may make memorial donations in his memory to the charity of one’s choice. Memorial page
