Before Jim became ill he always looked forward to attending the “Chess Club” gatherings in Natick, MA and due to his passion for the game, would often challenge a family member or friend to a chess match daily. He was a devoted New England sports fan and held his beloved Celtics above the rest. He was so enthusiastic to see them doing so well. Summers where always special to Jim, he enjoyed having a beer with friends around the campfire and operating his motor boat on the Pemigewasset River. His “Happy Place” was the Davidson Countryside Camp Grounds in Bristol, NH. All who loved and knew Jim will cherish the memory of a loving and devoted family man, good friend and a fanatic Jethro Tull junkie. He will truly be missed but not forgotten.
